Vivido | Noti

Vivido is a collection of exceptional, uniquely shaped, and hand-made decorations, brought to life thanks to Noti’s cooperation with Supergirls Do Design.

Made of 100% wood, the family of five totems maintain a perfect balance of shapes, textures, and colours. The totems imbue the interior with a sense of dynamism, whilst remaining faithful to the spirit of the Noti brand.

The Vivido totems stand out for their combination of hand-made, natural and high-quality materials, each of which has a distinct character of its own. The intriguing ALPI veneers alongside the natural wood structure make each totem truly unique.

Each of the five totems comes in a different size, which further emphasises their individual character. While the cylinders making the totems’ axis create a sense of spinning energy, the skilfully made shapes resembling spinning tops and bugles clearly break away from the solid structure. Emanating with circular movement, they underline the turning motion of the lathe used to craft them. On the other hand, their colours fill the interior with life and vigour, as the totems become charming highlights with a variety of features, ranging from calm and toned-down to vibrant and animated.

Playing with round shapes and fluent combinations of forms and colours, the designers created a visual dialogue with Noti products and interiors, filling them with vitality, energy and a touch of playfulness.

Structural elements

Finishing

cylindrical components are veneered and then painted/varnished; solid wood pieces are painted or oiled for preservation

The Supergirls combine matter and senses into multi-sensory designs of stage sets, objects, and spaces. Their designs use quality, durable and natural materials, often upcycled.

The starting point is empathy, which means that every design begins with answering the question about what will people feel like in spaces designed by the Supergirls, or interacting with items they design. How will their design affect the users’ senses and emotions. The Supergirls create experiences based on shape, texture, colour, and touch. Their designs are unconventional and inspiring, demonstrating a different and refreshing perspective, usually strongly contextual.

The Supergirls have worked with cultural institutions and commercial clients, including leading brands such as Vogue, PURO Hotels, NOTI, KUKBUK, School of Form, Ujazdowski Castle · Centre for Contemporary Art, Łódź Design Festival, Poznań Design Festival, INTU showroom, Dr Irena Eris Hotele Spa.
